About this series

Black technical drawing combined with the polygonal relief is a direction I am exploring. When working on my previous series, I felt an urge to create a stronger connection between the crystal composition and the negative space surrounding it.

Here, I realize this connection and try to convey a a feeling of depth by the abstract technical lines. They create an ornamental pattern on the crystals and continue without refraction on the backing.

I must admit, I feel very excited about the new creative opportunities created by this combination of a line and a plane. The Draw series takes my work and technology to a new level, as all the lines are drawn by a pen.
